Lithuania — crypto regulation

MiCA member state (Bank of Lithuania as NCA). Lithuania was Europe's largest VASP jurisdiction with 850+ registered firms. ESMA's interim register lists only six Lithuanian CASPs (including Robinhood Europe and Nuvei Liquidity), two of them e-money token issuers under Art. 60(4). The national transition ended 31 Dec 2025, and unlicensed activity has carried criminal liability since Jan 2026.
