No comprehensive crypto law yet, but high adoption (5M+ users, $6.7B in transactions in 2024). SFC ran a crypto-bank sandbox (LaArenera, 2021-2023). Bill 510/2025 to regulate VASPs was archived in 2026 without completing its passage through Congress. DIAN Resolution 000240 (Dec 2025) mandates crypto tax reporting aligned with OECD CARF starting 2026.
